Unexpected error during augmentation

This error is followed in ULS ldapcp product search by "[LDAPCP] No group found for user emailaddress during augmentation process" People picker displays LDS users and groups.

The bind failed for some reason, it could be some permission issue or something else, we can't say with just this.
Does the search in people picker works?
Do you see more information in application event viewer?
